More About Neil...
Neil was born in Vancouver, but spent most of his school years in Ottawa, graduating with a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Algonquin College. After two years with the Department of Energy, Mines & Resources Neil returned to Vancouver in 1969 and worked for a year with a local Engineering firm helping to establish the infrastructure for many housing projects in the lower mainland.
In 1970, Neil joined the Vancouver Police Department and served there for 27 years until his retirement as a Staff Sergeant in 1997. During his 27 years, Neil was employed in a variety of different areas including Community Relations, Planning and Research and for 3 years served as the Crown Liaison Officer representing the Vancouver Police Department in dealings with the Offices of the Provincial Crown Counsel.
In the 8 years since retirement, Neil has joined Terie in her real estate practise, first as an assistant and then as a fully qualified agent.
More About Terie...
Terie Grad is a native of Saskatchewan and has lived in British Columbia for over 20 years. Before entering real estate, Terie was a valued employee of the Provincial Health Department in Kelowna for many years.
Terie's real estate career commenced in 1987 when she arrived in Vancouver and set up practise here. Having already established herself as a competent, thorough agent in the 80's, she moved to Vancouver's West End in 1992 with her new husband Neil and quickly became one of the areas established Realtors. Terie's skill set includes incredible attention to detail, and in addition to being a tremendously tenacious negotiator, she has an uncanny ability to "read" the negotiation process and obtain the best possible results for her clients.
In the last four years, Terie and Neil have become Grandparents to 3 young children and are enjoying their time as babysitters very much.
